Seminar – Dr. Todd Shury

Dr. Todd Shury, a Parks Canada veterinarian and PhD candidate at the WCVM, will be giving seminar this week!

Dr. Shury will be discussing “The epidemiology of bovine tuberculosis (Mycobacterium bovis) in the Greater Riding Mountain ecosystem“.

This Wednesday, Dr. Ryan Brook will be giving a WildECOL seminar entitled “Facebook and Farmland Moose: Using Social Media to Engage the Public and Translate Knowledge“.

The WCVM is hosting a seminar by Dr. David Waltner-Toews, entitled “The Wicked Problem of Zoonosis“.

A veterinarian, epidemiologist, scientist, author (website), and professor at the University of Guelph, Dr. Waltner-Toews was also founding president of Veterinarians Without Borders/Vétérinaires sans Frontières.
